EIS participated at the 49th Annual Congress of Hungarian Librarians (MKE) as an exhibitor and bronze grade promoter.
The congress attracted more than 750 people. Librarians were informed about databases at sixteen booths by EIS National Programme providers.
The Section of Bibliography of the MKE and EIS Department jointly organized a panel discussion titled: Librarians for Qualitative Research. The programme depicted the role of bibliographic and reference databases in scientific evaluation and at every day library work.
Participants of the roundtable discussion were: Sándor Soós (Head of Department of Science Policy & Scientometrics of MTA Library and Information Centre) moderator of the panel, Zsuzsanna Nagy (General Director of the Library of Corvinus University), Enikő Pergéné Szabó (Deputy Director of the University and National Library of Debrecen), Katalin Kálóczi (General Director of the Library of Eötvös Loránd University) and Gyula Nagy (Deputy Director of the Klebelsberg Library of Szeged).
Congratulations to the organizers of the congress for the successful implementation of programmes. The 50th Annual Congress will be taking place in Keszthely. We look forward to the event and we wish the organizers of next year’s event good luck!
